They want to spend as much time as possible in front of the screen as they have instant entertainment available with all these devices. The craze for video games is always a huge draw for kids. They may stay glued to their favourite app for the majority of their waking hours. So, screen time is certainly a matter of concern. Reliance to interactive technology has caused many kids the inability to develop their creativity and imaginations. Blue light emits from electronic devices also which can cause issues in the way of sleeping. It can be considered, by the body, as day light. Therefore, it may signal the body that is is wake time instead of sleeping time. Cranky behavior is generally a result from the kids as a result. Lethargy and health issues may develop at the time also.
While using electronic devices, children most likely will sit. Due to this reason, obesity issues can become noticeable. As a result of sitting all day on the sofa instead of playing with friends outside or some other activities, children may become overweight. So, it is important that kids are getting up and moving around.
Obesity often leads to different kinds of health troubles. Joint problem, diabetes and heart diseases can be seen as more larger consequences in the future also. Child obesity has become an epidemic all over the world.
